Is quantity important in some foods but not others?  What foods do you insist be high quality? <p>Identify the triggers that cause you to overeat. Negative emotions and stressful situations can cause people to turn to food or alcohol. By identifying the particular triggers that result in you eating too much, you can change your behavior accordingly. If you find that you are vulnerable to excess snacking, ask yourself if you really need the food, and try to distract yourself by doing something you enjoy.</p>
<p>Getting enough rest and relaxation is, surprisingly, very helpful when trying to lose weight. A common reaction among people when they are stressed is to eat or drink more&#8211;it can give a sense of well-being or a &#8220;reward&#8221; for accomplishing tasks. Getting enough rest and doing something enjoyable to relax can be substituted as a reward. It is more satisfying in the long run than eating something and it&#8217;s fat free!</p>
<p>While on your weight loss journey, it is important to be patient. It&#8217;s proven that those who were patient and took the weight off slowly are the ones who will keep it off in the long-run. Losing just one or two pounds a week may not sound like much, but if you want to keep it off, that is the way to go.</p>
<p>By replacing unhealthy snack foods, such as salty chips or crackers and sweets, with healthier alternatives, such as fruit, one&#8217;s diet will be much better. By choosing snacks with a better nutritional value, one can limit the amount of food items eaten that are unhealthy and unproductive for losing weight. This will increase weight loss.</p>

<p>30 Nutrition Tips in 1 Minutes</p>
<p>1. Always eat a green vegetable with every meal</p>
<p>2. Eat over 100 grams of protein per day</p>
<p>3. Post-Work Out you should have protein and carbs like two scoops of whey and a high fructose fruit like a banana</p>
<p>4. Don&#8217;t use artificial sweeteners (or use the minimum amount)</p>
<p>5. No trans fats</p>
<p>6. For fat loss eat less than 100 grams of carbs per day</p>
<p>7. If you have MORE than 50 pounds of fat to lose, eliminate your carbs</p>
<p>8. Women never eat less than 1200 calories per day. </p>
<p>9. Guys never less than 1600 calories</p>
<p>10. Don&#8217;t use diet pills, thermogenics or any product someone endorses</p>
<p>11. Don&#8217;t do cleanses or stick anything up your butt for weight loss (90% of cleanses are retarded)</p>
<p>12. Don&#8217;t eat carbs before bed</p>
<p>13. Eat at least 4-5 times throughout the day</p>
<p>14. Your biggest meals should be breakfast, lunch, then dinner, not the other way around</p>

<p>Step 5: Out of sight, out of mind</p>
<p>Keep food out of sight. In one study, people ate 71 percent more candy from a see-through dish than an opaque one. Other studies show that we eat more food if it&#8217;s left within our field of vision, so serve yourself the proper portion and then wrap up any leftovers immediately.</p>
<p>Step 6: Drink up</p>
<p>Drink more water. Downing six to eight daily glasses of water helps people consume fewer calories &#8212; 194 less calories per day to be exact, according to one study.</p>
<p>Step 7: Move it</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve lost your excess weight, keep it off with exercise. Studies show that several hours of physical activity per week is more integral to keeping weight off than it is to losing it in the first place.</p>
