P90X is my only workout of the day, so if I run on an elliptical machine for about maybe 45 min. to an hour, will I be able to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time? Thanks!</p>
<p>P.S- Any diet suggestions for P90X? I am a vegetarian, but I still eat fish and eggs/dairy.<br />

<br />ive been upto this weight loss stuff but believe me the best way to gain muscle is simply excercise!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i do 56 seconds of sit ups and 20 seconds of push ups  Everyday. how long do you think it will take to lose weight and gain muscle ?<br />
<br />Well, over all, the sit ups are just toning. They make your stomach/abs more flat because when you do many sit  ups and they hurt, that means the muscles are ripping and causing blood to fill them in, so they are more tight. A suggestion: If your stomach/ab muscles hurt the next day, skip doing them that day because it would cause more harm than good. Push ups, however, only give you muscles within your arms. If you want to lose more weight, I also suggest you go on weight watchers or start running on the treadmill or outside everyday. But to answer your question, it matters how much weight you want to lose; if it&#8217;s about ten pounds, then it will probably take1 1/2 months to three months. (If you keep up with your exercise/eating habits)</p>
