		<description>It&#039;s impossible to do both at the same time.  Burning fat requires you to intake fewer calories than your body needs, so your body releases its fat stores.  Building muscle requires you to intake more calories than your body needs so it can gain muscle mass.  If you lose weight, you may be able to see your muscles because they are more defined.
