    xxmonickkkaxx is kind of right. If you eat raw food non processed food, you certainly would never have to count calories.

    You cannot get fat off of veggies and fruit. There is no fat within them.

    Well I have been on a low GI way of life for years and have never counted calories. If you eat all non-processed foods with low GI you never have to count calories and also get plenty of protein which encourages releasing hormones that will speed up your metabolic rate, it isn’t as simple as calories in calories out. I would also suggest reading Gary Taubes book Good Calories Bad Calories, it is an excellent read :) .

    And just think about it, if what you said is correct, the average person could reduce their body fat to like less than 1 or 2% just by skipping breakfast everyday for a few months…or a little longer depending on how much weight you had to loose.
