    Hi,

    I calculated your Body Mass Index(BMI) and it comes out to 32 which makes you obese. You have tried to cut calories and increase activity in order to lose weight and you achieved dismal results. I have found that people become obese not because they are innately gluttons or inactive, but they eat too much of a wrong food. That food is carbohydrates. Excess carbohydrates increase blood glucose levels which cause the pancreas to secrete high levels of insulin. Insulin is a fattening hormone because it drives fat accumulation. You store fat in the fat cells and your lean body tissues are starving at the cellular level. Instead of dieting ie. cutting calories to starve the fat off you, cut carbohydrates so that your body will be able to burn fat better. This can be done by limiting your carbohydrate consumption to 50-60 grams on a daily basis. In order to lose your fat stores you have to get your body to use fat as a fuel. You can accomplish this by increasing your consumption of animal.fat. Animal fat doesn’t raise blood glucose levels or increase the secretion of insulin. Instead of accumulating fat you will start burning it. You will not feel hungry because the amount of food you eat is left to your appetite. You can lose weight at the rate of 1-2 pounds a week not a month. In six months you can lose 50 pounds. Eat as much red meat, fish and poultry that you want. Make sure you don’t trim off the fat from your meat and eat your poultry with the skin on. Cut out grains. Eat only salad greens and nonstarchy vegetables. Limit your daily fruit intake to one-half grapefruit or a quarter cup of berries. Cut out all sugar. Instead of regular soda and diet soda drink water or mineral water. You can also drink coffee, cocoa, and tea.but only with real cream without additives. Throw out the non-dairy creamer. Avoid all low-fat dairy products. Try this and see how much weight you can lose after a month. Wishing you success in your weight-loss endeavor.

    You might not believe this, but if you stick to a healthy dietary habits by eating small meals throughout the day like every 3 hours, protein shakes and copious amounts of water you will lose body fat and maintain size. Things like bread and pasta should be kept to a minimum, they are still needed and are good if you need that extra energy to get through a workout. Just don’t over do them! Losing muscle mass occurs when you are on a ‘diet’ that denies your body the nutrients needed to sustain strength.
